Initial Diagnostic Process (BIA) – Business Impact Analysis

Focused Time-Boxed Diagnostic for One Essential Service or Central Process

Even Eytana has for years supported government and business organizations in business continuity, operational resilience, and emergency preparedness across a wide range of sectors — finance, healthcare, energy and infrastructure, retail, local government, aviation, and more. This focused diagnostic provides your organization with an initial picture of its readiness to withstand a disruption to one of its essential services, forming the basis for the next steps.

Torus Legacy is the exclusive representative of Even Eytana in the United Arab Emirates.

Purpose of the Diagnostic

Conducting an initial diagnostic process (Business Impact Analysis – BIA) for one essential, central process — to be defined by the organization. The process will examine the impact of possible failure events on the continued delivery of the selected essential service, and will lay the groundwork for the subsequent development of a Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

Methodology

  • Review of relevant professional material, to be agreed upon with the client.
  • Approximately 10 interviews with key stakeholders, to gain an understanding of the organization's operations with an emphasis on the selected essential service.
  • A site visit to the organization's facilities relevant to the essential service.

Deliverables

  • Definition of relevant threat scenarios, per the organization's decision.
  • An initial BIA analysis of the impacts and implications of the threat scenarios on the essential service — including operational, business, and reputational aspects, dependencies on personnel, information systems, suppliers, facilities and infrastructure, and an initial view of priorities and recovery objectives.
  • A summary document presenting a gap and strengths analysis, a heat map, and initial recommendations for the subsequent development of a Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

Team & Schedule

The work will be carried out by two senior consultants, BCP experts in the business, operational, and information-systems domains. On-site work at the client will span 3 net working days. Deliverables will be finalized at Even Eytana's offices over an additional 2–3 days, with the final report submitted in English.

Work Component Duration Cost per Consultant/Day
On-site work at the client 3 days (net) AED 10,700
Deliverable preparation at Even Eytana offices 2–3 days AED 5,150

* The above cost does not include flights, accommodation, or per diem.
